The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for end user application & hardware support; PC workstations, printers/drivers, advanced network and telecom troubleshooting, server support and level 2 resolution of incident tickets. Whilst providing advanced desk-side support, in a variety of office, laboratory, and production equipment locations. This post is 5 days per week on site, with some flexibility.

Description
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will provide:
* Site based Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, user support, and control of critical infrastructure.
* End User Support - face to face and remote support.
* OS and Software deployment and configuration - OS, Windows and Apple - laptops & desktops
* Hardware Management - deployments, migrations, asset manage
* Network & Security - Ethernet, Wireless networking, and TCP/IP
* Project support
* BAU 1st - 3rd line support - ServiceNow system
Profile
A successful IT Infrastructure Engineer will showcase:
* Proven track record/Knowledge of Windows & MAC platforms
* Experience with imaging windows OS
* Knowledge of Microsoft support tools such as SCCM, WSUS, and active directy concepts
* Knowledge and proven experience with ITIL based support applications like ServiceNow
* Familiar with network concepts (e.g., TCP IP, Windows Networking, Ethernet)
* Experience with networked printers
* Experience in using O365 applications
* Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situations
* Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks among many competing requests
* Experience working in or supporting a call centre or help desk environment
* Aptitude for learning
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a global team as a stand alone site support
* Full Driving Licence to attend other sites when required.
