Workday System Administrator
Responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of Workday Financials, ensuring it aligns with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and maintain Workday Financials, including business processes, security roles, and integrations.
* Oversee system updates, releases, and patches, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
* Collaborate with Finance to streamline processes and enhance functionality.
* Ensure robust testing processes in coordination with testing teams.
* Support reporting users by ensuring data accuracy and providing guidance on best practices.
* Maintain data integrity, compliance, and financial reporting accuracy.
* Act as the escalation point for complex system issues beyond Service Desk scope.
* Provide training and best practice guidance to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience administering Workday, preferably Workday Financials.
* Strong configuration skills, including security, business processes, and integrations.
* Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, Web Services).
* Experience with finance operations (GL, AP, AR, procurement, reporting).
* Understanding of data structures and Workday reporting.
* Experience with testing best practices, UAT, and change control.
* Ability to lead system improvements and automation.
* Knowledge of financial compliance and audit requirements.
Preferred:
* Workday certifications (Financials, Integration, Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics).
* Familiarity with Workday Extend and cloud security principles.
* Experience supporting financial applications in IT or Finance.
This role requires travel to our client's office in Blairgowrie once a week, and comes with a salary of up to £55,000 plus extensive benefits.
