To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team, and right now we are looking to recruit a Health and Fitness Coach to join our centre.
Stoke Mandeville Stadium is the National Centre for Disability Sport and boasts the highest grade of facilities for our leading sportsmen and women.
As the Health and Fitness Coach, you will inspire our members to achieve their goals, deliver Group Fitness and Small Group Training sessions, and have the opportunity to deliver Personal Training sessions. You will coach members on effective outlined Health & Fitness programmes appropriate to their needs and advise on the safe use of our exercise equipment. At all times, you will help create a community-oriented environment, building clubs within clubs and always delivering excellent customer service.
The role involves a high level of customer interaction, and there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.
You will help facilitate a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent training and development opportunities, as well as a free membership to our leisure centre.
About you
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who, like the members of staff, takes pride and strives to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and goes the extra mile for customers when required.
You will also have a good standard of personal presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
It is essential that you have a level 2 Fitness instruction to be considered for this role and be actively working towards an advanced instructor qualification (level 3).
It is desirable that you hold a GP referral; however, full training will be provided.
