Fitting Teams Manager Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading player in the Insurance Assessment and Replacement Flooring market in their search for additional members of their team to service their clients throughout the UK. In this instance we are seeking someone with an excellent track record and lot’s of contacts in the installation and fitting side of the Job to oversee the successful Day to Day Management and development of their Fitting Teams and Fitting Centres as Manager. The Job: The job involves Managing, Recruiting and overseeing all day to day operations of Fitting Teams and individual carpet flooring fitters to work across the UK via Fitting Centres and sometimes based from Home or a local lock-up storage facility, installing replacement Carpets and Flooring Products. This would involve meeting potential fitters, organising advertising and marketing to attract fitters as well as cold calling on sites where fitters may be working. A Great Eye for problem solving and a detailed eye for solving problems as well as excellent organisational skills will be Key. Requirements: The job would be ideal for someone already doing a similar job with a knowledge of existing fitters looking for new opportunities. As well as recruiting new fitters the role would involve visiting fitters on site, checking the work standards and implementing health and safety for example tool box talks. The ideal person would be out of the office at least 3 days a week and could reside within a radius of 50 miles from our client’s base in the North West though they are open to candidates from further afield who would be happy to work from a home / local office location. Paramount to this role will be the ability to bring the following: Enthusiasm and Creativity in marketing and attracting Fitting Staff. An excellent knowledge of Carpet and Floor Laying. A lot of Fitting Contacts you could call upon. A fantastic ability to communicate with and resolve any issues that Fitters may have. Experience of Health and Safety and of getting the best results for the customer every time. Comfortable communicating with Fitters, Customers and Company Managers and dealing with any problems that they report quickly, courteously and efficiently. We are keen to hear from candidates with a strong background in Flooring, perhaps currently working in a similar role for a retailer or contractor and who is ready to take control of a busy operational role and to develop their career in management as opposed to “on the tools” or Knees The Rewards: The salary would be negotiable between £25000 and £30000 to start plus Bonuses etc depending on experience. There would also be a bonus scheme dependant on results, you would be provided with a company car, expenses, mobile phone and other normal benefits.
