Role: Locum Sterile Service Technicians Banding: Band 2 Location: Sheffield Hours: Full-time/Part-time Start Date: ASAP Rate: £14 - £16 per hour Duration: Ongoing The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking two experienced Sterile Service Technicians to join our team on the Twilight shift. The ideal candidates will be fully versed in the reprocessing of medical devices, utilizing automated Washer/Disinfectors and Autoclaves, and using a computerized tracking system. Duties and Responsibilities: You will reprocess medical devices using automated Washer/Disinfectors and Autoclaves. You will utilize a computerized tracking system for managing surgical sets. You will perform physical tasks including loading, unloading, delivering, and collecting surgical sets. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace. You will stand for long periods and maintain concentration during tasks. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Experience in sterile services or a similar role. Knowledge of automated Washer/Disinfectors and Autoclaves. Ability to use a computerized tracking system. Physical stamina for long periods of standing and handling heavy surgical sets. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Desirable: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
