What will your responsibilities be?
You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. Actively participating in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews, will be part of your role. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures and develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. Contributing to information management processes and supporting social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained, will also be expected. You need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with adults, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.
