Accounts Assistant Armagh £27,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role: Our client is a a well-established and dynamic company is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team. This role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage and/or XERO accounting software and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Perform multi-currency bank transactions, ensuring correct allocation to customer and supplier accounts. Manage purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accurate entry and reconciliation of transactions. Process receipts, deposits, refunds, and other routine bookkeeping tasks in a timely manner. Handle credit control functions and manage outstanding payments. Administer customer onboarding processes efficiently. Handle client queries professionally and provide support as needed. Collaborate with external accountants, preparing reports as required. Requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Mathematics and English. At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced finance team. A minimum of 2 years' experience using either Sage or XERO accounting software. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
