This organisation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to building enterprise-grade solutions for customers in the financial and property sectors.
About the Role
As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with developers, analysts, and product managers in an agile environment to ensure that quality is embedded into every stage of the development process.
This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects using modern tools and practices while mentoring others to build a strong culture of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute testing strategies to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions.
* Embed quality principles into all phases of the product lifecycle, adopting a proactive, shift-left approach.
* Share knowledge of quality practices with colleagues, providing mentorship and guidance where needed.
* Test APIs, validate performance and security requirements, and ensure robust regression checks are in place.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in C# / .Net, SQL (including writing queries), and API testing.
* Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks from the ground up.
* Strong skills in automation and manual testing, e.g., Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and strategies for integrating testing tools.
* Understanding of software design principles (e.g., SOLID) and clean coding practices.
