Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join their client's dynamic team in Stoke on Trent. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and roadworthiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles, including light and heavy goods vehicles
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of MOT testing standards and procedures, and actively participate in the MOT testing process
* Maintain detailed records of all work carried out, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
* Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and productivity
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, sharing your expertise and contributing to their professional development
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Possess a VOSA recognised Certificate for Large Goods Vehicle Safety/Roadworthiness Inspections
* Be a qualified MOT inspector or actively in training as an MOT Inspector
* Have an LGV category C Driving Licence, and ideally, a category C+E Driving Licence
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of M.O.T. Testing, standards and procedures
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
