We require Boning Hall Operatives to work at our Newry Site. The role involves working from 6:00am, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet customer demand in the preparation of fresh products.
Responsibilities include working within the butchery team to complete daily planning orders, ensuring high standards of quality and pace.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all products are packed to meet customer and company specifications, maximizing yield and minimizing waste.
2. Debagging: open primal bags and dispose of waste bags.
3. Packing finished products into trays, ready for outer case marking.
4. Perform all tasks in accordance with company policies, especially health and safety and food safety regulations.
5. Drive processing efficiency through proper equipment operation.
6. Adhere to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical standards, and proper product labelling and handling processes.
7. Follow traceability procedures to maintain product and labelling integrity at all times.
Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not essential.
Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving high customer satisfaction.
