CLIC Programme
You will be an experienced partnerships/ communications professional with a passion to support Care Experienced Young people (CEYP) aged 18 - 30. The programme you would work on helps participants to look at their approach to challenges and manage them in new ways, supports them to upskill, grow and become work ready. You would report to the Operations Manager and sit within an employability team delivering a targeted employability contract to NEET CEYP across Liverpool City Regions and Greater Manchester. The contract you will be working is funded by Barclays.
The role will be office based with opportunities to work from home 1 day a week. We have a Liverpool office and are seeking a Manchester base.

This role is intended to be a 5 day role (Monday - Friday) - happy to discuss how the hours would be structured and there is room for flexibility on the working pattern.
Job Description
You will be expected to:
* Work closely with the Service manager, partnerships & Comms team to increase opportunities for service users.
* Work closely with the Service manager, partnerships & Comms team to increase visibility of the programme's at local and national level.
* Run direct employer-engagement outreach, meetings.
* Secure work placements and virtual work experience opportunities, working with both large firms and SMEs to find work opportunities.
* Hold careers fairs, enabling employers to meet their future talent and candidates to gain insight into employers and industries in an informal setting.
* Work with employers to review their recruitment processes to make vacancies more accessible to CEYP.
* Support the operations manager to achieve contractual objectives and respond to ongoing contract needs.
* Support with evidencing outcomes when needed.
* Be the face of our CE programme's by creating social media presence in line with Catch22 policy.
* Advocate for CE people at local and national events.
* Present to an audience to increase opportunities for CE people.
Main Duties & Accountabilities
* To work with employers to develop suitable and sustainable employment opportunities for CEYP.
* Responsible for the generation of self-sourced leads and employer contacts in order to generate opportunities, build a pipeline of job roles and support in the conversion from job seeker to valued employee.
* Maintain exceptional employer relationships.
* Ability to build local networks, through participation in professional networking and maintain knowledge of local labour markets.
* Work in collaboration with Employment Advisors to support CEYP into employment. To include screening candidates, understanding the caseload needs, conducting group assessments/events etc.
* To organise, facilitate and deliver recruitment events including jobs fairs, roundtables, employer summits.
* To engage and negotiate with Employers on varying their recruitment processes to enable diversity in the workplace.
* Support in meetings Commissioners requests including those that may lie outside of day-to-day delivery.
* Responsible for engaging with Employers who can offer progression opportunities.
* To ensure compliance with internal policies in regard to the learner/job seeker and employer engagement delivery and the Health, Safety and Welfare of learners
* Record all employer details on to the systems provided.
* Provide reporting figures on all targets and pipeline.
* To ensure compliance with the organisation’s HR Policy and Procedures.
* To carry out such other relevant duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the nature and level of this post.
* Support overall team performance and carry out administrative support duties when needed.
* Deliver pre-screening workshops and one to one preparation sessions where required.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Five GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above
* Confident using LinkedIn to promote a service and raise the profile of the work the team are doing. Reach out to key stakeholders to create strong relationships with the community.
Desirable:
* Trauma informed, trained - can be undertaken in the role
* Media training
What good looks like in this role:
* Someone who has experience in account management, employer engagement, sales, customer centric capacity.
* Exceptional relationship management skills: Ability to engage and communicate with a range of stakeholders.
* Passion to support CEYP people in achieving their goals.
* Ability to positively challenge mind-sets.
* Ability or organise successful events online and in person.
Additional Information
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours of work: 37 hours
Contract: Permanent
Flexibility: Hybrid working model: primarily office based in Liverpool or Manchester offices, with 1 day a week at home.
