We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and support students with various SEN needs in primary schools across Romford. Key Responsibilities:
* One-to-One Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them succeed in the classroom.
* Collaborate with Teachers: Assist in creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) to address the unique needs of each student.
* Encourage Engagement: Support students during class activities, ensuring they understand instructions and remain engaged.
* Positive Behaviour Management: Use positive reinforcement techniques to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
* Communication: Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and other professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to the child's education.
* Inclusive Environment: Foster an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
* A patient, empathetic approach to supporting students.
* Ability to adapt to various learning styles and use a variety of teaching methods.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
