Location: Cumbria – hybrid working 2 days per week onsite
This role is hybrid working in Cumbria.
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer with experience working as a senior or 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer on Microsoft technologies in a similarly scaled environment. Candidates should have strong Office 365 skills, including expertise in Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, and the broader Office toolset.
In this role, you will work collaboratively as an M365 Engineer, providing project support across the full infrastructure environment. Acting as the primary Microsoft 365 Subject Matter Expert, your focus will be on the Microsoft Office 365 stack, including Azure, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, and more. The role involves a balance of administration and project work, with projects ranging from Office 365 cloud migrations to EUC hardware deployments and system improvements.
Minimum Required Skills And Experience
Experience working as a senior / 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer on Microsoft Technologies in similar scale environment.
Office 365 skills spanning Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint & Office toolset.
Active Directory / Group Policy / DNS / DHCP / WSUS
Windows Server
Provisioning / Managing / maintaining VMs (VMWare)
Expert documentation abilities
Experience using ITSM tools and strong understanding of ITSM (ITIL) best practices
Confidence in managing stakeholders
Experience of work in a DevOps Environment.
