The successful applicant will be Clinical Trial Coordinator for the PROTECT-HF trial. The PROTECT-HF trial is a British Heart Foundation-funded multi-centre randomised clinical trial. This landmark Trial will establish whether conduction system pacing improves outcomes for the ~40,000 UK patients annually receiving a bradycardia pacemaker.

What you would be doing: You will have a pivotal role assisting in the running of this trial, which includes consenting patients, contacting study participants to conduct quality of life questionnaires, and contacting the researchers at the various participating hospitals to collect event data.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly organised individual who can work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You should have working knowledge of the current UK Clinical Trials regulations, Principles of GDPR, and ideally have clinical experience of working with patients. Qualifications
Essential
* Working knowledge of the current EU Clinical Trials Directive, UK Clinical Trials regulations, Principles of GCP, GDPR, Data Protection Act, and Research Governance Framework legislation and proven ability to apply these to the coordination of clinical trials.
Desirable
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biomedical/scientific field.
Experience
Essential
* Proven clinical trial/project management experience gained in multi-centre trials.
* Evidence of preparing regulatory and ethics submissions, writing/amending protocols, patient information sheets, case report forms (CRF)/electronic CRF, and other relevant trial management documentation.
* Evidence of strong IT literacy (MS Office).
* Experience of working in a research environment.
* Experience of data entry and data management processes using electronic CRF.
Desirable
* Experience of working within the NHS or academic clinical research setting.
* Demonstrated success in the management of clinical trials budgets.
