IRO / CP Chair | Career progression | Stable service | Supportive senior management | Regular training
Have you got a keen eye for quality practice? Do you understand the vital role ensuring quality of practice can have for children on CP plans, or those that are looked after?
In light of the DfE’s decision to keep the role of IRO within Children’s Services, now seems to be the time for Achieving for Children to further invest in their quality assurance, by bringing in an experienced practitioner to join the service as an IRO / CP Chair.
On top of the other benefits, you will receive 29 days of annual leave, rising to 33 days after 2 years and 35 after 4 years, with a salary of up to £57,154 if you are an experienced IRO / manager.
Naturally, they are looking for you to bring knowledge to the team, so a background in QA or previous experience as an Independent Reviewing Officer / CP Chair would be great. However, they pride themselves on professional development, so a drive for service improvement and a history of delivering good practice shouldn’t hold you back from applying.
As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
