Youll be providing vital first-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring their hardware and software needs are met. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to helpdesk requests, providing first-line support for PCs, laptops, printers, and audio-visual equipment. Assist with user change requests and ensure compliance with security protocols, such as backups and anti-virus. Maintain and upgrade hardware, install software, and keep ICT equipment ready for use. Support teachers and pupils with IT needs in the classroom. Manage the computer room and ensure a tidy working environment. Collaborate with external suppliers for technical support when necessary. Help oversee network improvements and ensure the smooth operation of the digital learning platform. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, PCs, laptops, and printers. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours when required. Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
