Job description
As a Biostatistician Consultant - Health Economics and Market Access F/M/X, you will join the department of HEMA (Health Economics & Market Access). We are a dynamic and expert team of more than 80 collaborators, located in 8 countries (Canada, U.S.A, Spain, France, the U.K., China, Bulgaria, and Tunisia), gathering more than 15 different nationalities. Our main activities are Health Economics, Evidence Value & Access, and Biostatistics.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will join the team as Senior Biostatistician Consultant:
* Act as a lead analyst on projects including ITC, Network Meta-Analysis, and clinical trial data analysis.
* Interact with the client to understand their needs.
* Identify optimal methodological solutions to address the need.
* Lead the implementation of the corresponding solution, supported by statistical analysts, and development of high-quality deliverables.
* Lead client meetings.
* Act as a project manager on projects including ITC, NMA, and analyses of clinical trials.
* Act as the main point of contact to the client.
* Coordinate the work of team members internally.
* Represent company expertise in capabilities, presentations, conferences, and external events, and contribute to the preparation of proposals.
* Provide management and technical support to other team members within the department.
* Coach junior team members on methodological expertise, soft skills, and professional development.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for delivering on a cluster of projects within the Statistics delivery (RWE, evidence synthesis, biostatistics).
* Acts as Project Director, Project Manager, Lead Analyst, and/or technical advisor on projects within your specialty.
Operational Excellence:
* Accountable for quality checking that the staffing on projects within your cluster is optimal.
* Safeguard the quality of deliverables within your cluster – set standards of excellence and transmit know-how to project teams and delivery managers under your supervision.
Business Development support:
* Support the development of project extensions or the proactive creation of opportunities with existing clients to strengthen partnerships with key accounts.
* Support the development of proposals within the area of expertise.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU THE BEST HEMA CANDIDATE?
Background
* Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics (minimum MS degree or equivalent).
* 4+ years of relevant working experience in Statistics.
* Extensive experience in ITC (Indirect Treatment Comparison).
Knowledge
* Strong knowledge of statistical methods for clinical trial data analysis and/or NMA.
* Ability to identify, design, organize, implement, and present the project approach and plan.
* Proficiency in R or SAS programming.
Competences
* Excellent oral and written communication.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving attitude.
* Excellent project organization and management.
* Experience in project team supervision and leadership skills.
* Working with cross-functional teams (stats/HE/market access/other).
* Excellent time management skills.
Language: English C1-C2 (Will be assessed during the first contact conversation).
