Due to the partial retirement of one of our salaried GPs, an exciting opportunity has arisen at our Caskgate Street Surgery for either a full-time or part-time salaried GP. There are currently 2 full-time partners and 3 part-time salaried GPs, along with an ANP, 3 Nurses, 2 HCAs, a Mental Health Practitioner, an FCP, a Health and Wellbeing Coach, and a Pharmacist, along with a full team of administrators for 12,000 patients.
At Caskgate, we use MS Teams, AccRx Triage, TPP, and System One.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a focused, motivated GP to join our team based in the centre of Gainsborough. You will be expected to undertake all normal duties, making professional and autonomous decisions and all responsibilities associated with working as a GP in primary care. We are seeking a GP to do 6 - 8 sessions per week with inclusion in the weekly on-call rota.
We do not offer extended access as this is provided by our colleagues at the other primary care site in Gainsborough. The opening hours of the practice are Monday - Friday 8am - 6.30pm.
We work using a signposting and total triage system ensuring we are making full use of the clinical team within the Surgery via our GPs, ANP, Nurses, and HCAs.
We offer some pre-bookable slots along with same-day slots.

Job responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive medical services as defined in the core GMS contract and additional services where appropriate.
* Deliver high-quality clinical care while working autonomously as a GP, adhering to GMC standards and the GMS contract.
* Manage a diverse caseload, including the assessment and treatment of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients, providing counselling and health education.
* Complete a share of daily tasks, queries, and prescription sign-offs.
* Maintain accurate, contemporaneous consultation notes using System One, and manage prescriptions according to guidelines.
* Participate in regular clinical meetings.
* Contribute to the management and improvement of practice processes, ensuring adherence to policies on confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
* Foster effective communication within the team and with patients, upholding equality, diversity, and patient confidentiality standards.
* Engage in personal and professional development, including participating in annual appraisals, revalidation, and maintaining professional registration.
* Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
* Occasional home or care home visits may be required, usually carried out by our ANP.

* Full GMC registration.
* Enhanced DBS Check.
