The Millennium Hotel Glasgow is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef (4 days out of 7 based on 24 hours per week) to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring that the Companys high levels of guest satisfaction are achieved consistently. As a Breakfast Chef your responsibilities will include: Preparing, cooking and presenting the breakfast menu, ensuring high standards are achieved, consistently Ensuring that food safety standards are complied with at all times Ensuring appropriate stock rotation, labelling of food items and minimising waste Preparing staff meals as required Ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained, carrying out general cleaning duties, as required We are looking for: Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef Proven culinary skills with Level 1 Food Safety Enthusiastic and motivated with a can do attitude The role also relies on developing positive relationships with other departments in the hotel, therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively Ability to work 4 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends, as required About The Hotel: The Millennium Hotel Glasgow is a striking Victorian building, located in the heart of the citys cultural and retail activities and stylish guest rooms.
