This is an excellent opportunity for a Programme Officer to contribute to an organisation that works to protect the world s forests and strengthen Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities rights on land and forestry governance. This is a full time, temporary role, running from mid-March to mid-May 2025 in the first instance, with possibility of extension. This role offers hybrid working with one day per week in their London office.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation s environmental programmes taking place in Japan and Southeast Asia. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the smooth delivery of project outputs and objectives in compliance with internal policies and funder requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Steward the internal contracting process of consultant, partners and suppliers, in adherence with internal procedures and guidelines
* Preparing, processing and monitoring financial transactions
* Assist with tracking internal budgets and subgrants across projects
* Maintain project level documentation, including contracts, agreements and correspondence
* Facilitate monitoring and evaluation of the results of the team s activities, with guidance from the central Impact & Learning team
To be considered for this role, you will need experience working to competing deadlines and managing multiple tasks and priorities in a similar environment, as well as good knowledge of administrative and financial processes. Experience using contract management systems (eg Concord) would be beneficial.
