Role Summary Logistics and Customs Coordinator will act as a corporate support function for Borr’s Global fleet/Supply Chain. Logistics and Customs coordinator will act as a liaison focal point to oversee the day-to-day shipping of equipment in a safe and efficient manor in conjunction with the appointed Global Freight Forwarder(s). The position will also act as a focal point for coordination of Global Logistics activities related to project scopes such as rig reactivation/contract readiness. Logistics & Customs Coordinator will work with Borr project teams to plan and execute shipping of materials within the required timelines. Logistics and Customs Coordinator will ensure best practices are carried out and all equipment that is processed by Global freight forwarder(s) is handled/dispatched in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities Oversee freight forwarder performance on day-to-day logistics and customs requirements. Work in coordination with Logistics Manager on Logistics project scopes, specific to rig reactivation/ contract readiness. Assist Borr Global Supply Chain teams on coordination of Air, Sea and Road shipments for materials required for fleet. Act as first point of escalation for Regional Supply Chain teams on all global freight logistics movements. Work in tandem with freight forwarder on freight scheduling, regular review of on hand reports and adherence to agreed Global KPI’s. Assist in reviewing import clearance instructions and ensuring that they are issued to the Company’s Third Partly Logistics Providers in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate booking for air and sea cargo and ensure movement of materials is done in a safe, efficient and timely manner in accordance with Company’s Standard Operating Procedure and the contracts and agreements in place with the respective rig clients. Monitor shipments at docks, airport or other location when necessary to ensure timely arrival / delivery. Expedite and coordinate emergency or rig down orders from seller to packer and/or port of export. Obtain quotes for domestic and international air and sea freight estimates. Support Global operations on actions required for identification of materials (photos, serial numbers etc) as requested. Administer and maintain customs and other relevant documentation to ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to in the movement and reporting of materials. Where required, support on verification of customs import entries against clearance instructions and confirm customs status and commodity codes for all international items with vendor. Where required, verify and check commercial invoices, BOL, AWB, export and entry documentation. Work in coordination with Logistics Manager to regularly review and maintain rig shipping profiles. Ensure that safe and good environmental practices are promoted on a continual basis. Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility and ensure all materials are stored and moved around site in a safely and in compliance with Company HSEQ policies. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of Company’s Logistics and Customs processes and policies. Support Supply Chain colleagues with audit and inventory stock takes. Seek out and report continuous improvements and cost saving solutions that will benefit the business. Qualifications and Experience Experience of customs and logistics support of oilfield equipment. Excellent communication skills: Fluency in written and spoken English required. Competent MS Office, particularly Excel. Able to work with relative autonomy on multiple projects and to challenging timescales. Problem solving skills: demonstrate ability to evaluate problems and recognize potential root cause and recommend solutions. Ability to work in a team throughout various different roles and responsibilities within the Borr organization and the companies service providers. Experience of customs and logistics support of oilfield equipment. Strong organizational and project management skills, experience in managing priority queues with highest level of accuracy.
