We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Sodexo in North Devon District Hospital, Raleigh Heights, Barnstaple, EX31 4JB. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong work ethic, and excellent organisational skills. What you’ll do:
* Maintain patient safety by keeping their rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas clean.
* Strip and clean beds and collect linen
* Clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and other surfaces to create a sterile, safe environment.
* Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies
* Emptying bins and waste containers
* Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff
