Key Responsibilities
:
– Offer expert guidance to employers and employees on various employment matters.
– Oversee Employment Tribunal claims.
– Manage TUPE issues, redundancy situations, and transfers of undertakings.
– Negotiate and draft settlement agreements for both parties.
– Provide advice on restrictive covenants, breaches of confidentiality, and other workplace disputes.
– Draft and review employment contracts and employee handbooks.
– Conduct legal research and analysis to support case management.
– Prepare court documents, correspondence, and other legal paperwork.
– Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and involved parties.
– Collaborate with Partners and peers to develop strategies that align with client objectives.
– Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the firm.
Requirements:
– up to 8 years PQE in Employment Law.
– Demonstrated experience in managing employment tribunal claims and complex legal matters.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
– Capacity to cooperate effectively within a supportive team environment.
– A proactive mindset towards business development and marketing efforts.
