As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with students who have additional educational needs. A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is essential, along with insight into how these factors can influence a child’s behaviour and learning. You’ll have the opportunity to work 1:1 or with small groups, offering tailored support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their potential. Requirements: A recent Psychology degree, or you’ll be graduating soon and looking to start a career in education. Willingness to undergo a fully enhanced DBS check. Ability to provide at least two employment references. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with their Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs). Building positive relationships with students to help them progress in their development. Monitoring and reporting on student progress to teachers, parents, and the students themselves.
