You will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and specialist sectors such as minerals and waste, allowing you to broaden your expertise and make a real impact in shaping local development.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage and deliver planning applications, appeals, and development proposals across a variety of sectors.
·Provide expert advice to clients on planning policies, processes, and project strategies.
·Support or lead on projects in the minerals and waste sector, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
·Collaborate with colleagues, local authorities, and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
·Assist in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the consultancy.
Key Requirements:
·Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited or working towards chartered status).
·Experience in planning, with a strong understanding of the UK planning system.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
·Experience or interest in minerals and waste projects would be advantageous.
