We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Leader that has Eating Disorder experience and is wanting to progress to a Clinical Lead within a Private Hospital in High Wycombe. This full-time permanent position.
The role is available to start asap but can accommodate notice periods of up to 8 weeks. The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Hospital Director, the Clinical Lead forms part of a member of the hospital Senior Management Team and is wholly responsible for the leadership and delivery of clinical services operations, expert nursing care, working in close partnership with therapy colleagues and medical staff (nursing and therapy) within the hospital.
The Clinical Lead plays a key part in developing and delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
You will deputise for Hospital Director in their absence and have overall responsibility for all clinical departments’ performance and governance.
As the Clinical Lead, you will manage the ward and resources effectively, taking steps to ensure that appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of nursing experience and skills is in place including effective rota management (12 weeks in advance), annual leave/training arrangements and sickness and absence management.
You will undertake and complete clinical investigations and complaints and also HR investigations, ensuring these are completed thoroughly, promptly and to a high standard.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* Professional NMC registration.
* Mental Health (RMN) or Learning Disability (RNLD) qualified.
* Strong clinical experience in Eating Disorders and evidence of continuing professional development.
* A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential.
* Passionate about providing high-quality care and continuous improvement.
* Experience devising and undertaking quality improvement projects and evidence-based evidence.
* Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills essential.
* Forward thinking, proactive and creative.
* The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
* High levels of integrity and boundaries.
