Our client are looking for an experienced, hands on, Quality Manager to join their team in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be:
Lead investigations into customer complaints, analyze trends, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are in place.
Conduct routine audits and collaborate with production teams to maintain a high standard of audit readiness, fostering a "ready every day" culture.
Oversee product quality checks to ensure all output meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all sites.
Supervise daily taste paneling and confirm accuracy of quality attribute documentation.
Compile and present site technical and quality KPIs in monthly reports.
Coordinate and manage traceability exercises, product recalls, and withdrawal testing.
Inspire and lead the technical and hygiene teams, continually developing team capability.
Update technical specifications and manage third-party and customer audits as needed.
Collaborate with the Head of Manufacturing and Head of Technical to drive technical excellence across the board.Requirements for this Quality Manager position:
Proven experience in a Technical or Quality Manager role within the food or beverage industry.
HACCP Level 3 certification (or higher) and experience with BRC or similar audit standards.
Strong quality assurance knowledge, with experience in customer-facing roles and people management.
Ability to build strong operational relationships and work autonomously with attention to detail.
Internal Auditor training, with a desire for continuous improvement and an adaptable, positive outlook.
