* Some post graduate experience as a process engineer, materials engineer, manufacturing engineer or continuous improvement engineer ideally in a web processing/web handling manufacturing environment (paper, tissue, fabric, foil, film, coating, plating, lamination).
* Must have a detailed understanding of and track record in product introductions, process engineering and improvement using tools such as APQP, SPC, Cpk and Six Sigma, FMEA, process mapping.
* Ability to evidence quantifiable achievement around resolving product and process capability issues in a relevant manufacturing environment.
* Any knowledge of thermoplastics, polymers, plastics, composites, resins or coatings highly advantageous.
* Familiarity with automation and advanced process control also beneficial.
Most importantly we seek a technically minded and data driven candidate, who enjoys working with numbers and doing statistical analysis, who can act as a conduit between different departments and engage others in project work, who has excellent time management and prioritisation skills. A well-presented, professional and articulate process engineer who is results driven and ambitious.
This role will involve some infrequent travel to other sites in UK and potentially Europe.
This is a site based role based in Wrexham.
Excellent package to include bonus, good pension, healthcare, training and development in a range of areas, and structured career progression opportunity.
