We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a temporary position on behalf of our esteemed client based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance to contribute to a dynamic team. Finance Assistant Day-to-Day of the Role: Assisting with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable Completing purchase orders and managing payroll Completing bank reconciliations Entering financial information into appropriate software programs Managing company ledgers Processing business expenses and managing budgets and petty cash Coordinating internal and external audits Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies Verifying bank deposits and managing day-to-day transactions Reporting on debtors and creditors Handling accruals and prepayments Managing monthly budgeting tasks Finance Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar Finance Assistant role Strong understanding of finance regulations and accounting processes High level of organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time Ability to work to deadlines Knowledge of financial software and advanced MS Excel skills Data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors Good attention to detail and analytical skills Finance Assistant Benefits: Opportunity to work within a reputable organisation Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment Supportive team and management The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience obtained from a similar Finance Assistant role, be within commutable distance to our client in Deal, be able to work full-time in our office, and be available to start work immediately.
