Learning Business Partner - Audit (12 month FTC)
Base Location: Watford

What will you be doing?
Our business partners are the critical two-way link between the business and our Learning and Development teams. As a key member of the team, your role contributes true value to the bottom line and is recognised as essential for short and long-term strategic business planning. Your responsibilities span the employee life cycle inclusive of the talent agenda, so you are a true partner to the Capability-aligned HRD. Collaboration across our operating model is a key feature of how you will deliver impactful results
Reporting to the Senior Learning Business Partner, you will build trusted advisor relationships with senior managers in your business service line. Using your knowledge and experience of the core HR competencies, coupled with your commercial awareness, you will translate your client's business needs into realistic and achievable plans that reflect the Learning Strategy and deliver impact. It's a fast paced and changing environment. Working closely with Design and Delivery teams you will ensure the business agenda for technical training remains on track and on budget. You will be a role model for collaboration to those around you; influencing, coaching, motivating and challenging.
1. Understanding and driving implementation of a business-specific learning strategy aligned to business, Talent and Learning CoE strategy.
2. Lead the planning and participation of an annual learning needs analysis in business unit/Capability area, to develop an understanding of the current and future learning needs (including on-going projects, issues, business drivers, etc.), enabling greater clarity around key issues and the development of effective L&D solutions.
3. Bring an expert view of the business and participate in firm-wide learning projects for design and delivery to ensure business solutions are innovative and practical and aligned to business objectives.
4. As an expert, lead on business unit/Capability projects, and represent the business into projects for business-driven technical curriculum, sit in design and delivery project meetings to ensure alignment with client needs.
5. Manage the scheduling and implementation of technical training, working closely with Enablement and KLS
6. Monitor the business case shift from F2F learning for technical training towards a blend of digital/Virtual.
7. Facilitate the implementation of Code of Conduct, risk and compliance learning and awareness across all grades, Sectors and business lines, as needed.
8. Conduct, manage and measure the impact of learning campaigns.
What will you need to do it?
9. Professional training/HR development/education qualifications in relevant subject area.
10. Demonstrable experience at manager level and have a proven track record in core HR competencies and exposure to the associated risks.
11. Adept at communicating, influencing, coaching, educating, challenging and managing senior stakeholders.
12. Strong financial management/commercial acumen.
13. Evidence of CPD and up to date knowledge on learning strategy
14. Ability to understand and develop effective L&D and OD strategies while understanding the implications from a culture, business success and company practice standpoint.
15. The ability to translate client business needs into realistic and achievable plans in collaboration with the learning CoE.
16. The ability to role model collaboration, and consult confidently, effectively and independently with senior levels of the organisation.
17. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to address diverse organisational stakeholders at all levels.
