Provide comprehensive medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, and additional services where appropriate. Deliver high-quality clinical care while working autonomously as a GP, adhering to GMC standards and the GMS contract. Assess patient triage messages, ensuring patients are booked in with the appropriate Clinican or signposted to services more beneficial to patient needs Manage a diverse caseload, including the assessment and treatment of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients, providing counselling and health education. Complete a share of daily tasks, queries and prescription sign offs. Maintain accurate, contemporaneous consultation notes using SystemOne, and manage prescriptions according to guidelines. Participate in regular clinical meetings Engage with local and national healthcare initiatives to enhance and sustain service delivery. Contribute to the management and improvement of practice processes, ensuring adherence to policies on confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety. Foster effective communication within the team and with patients, upholding equality, diversity, and patient confidentiality standards. Engage in personal and professional development, including participating in annual appraisals, revalidation, and maintaining professional registration. Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
