As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and analysis of Business Plans for the company’s sales and purchases, in order for demand to be met effectively. Along with monitoring the health of our inventory and ensuring any necessary action is taken, you will also be asked to prepare and distribute various reports as requested by the business.
Your responsibilities
* Proactive collaboration with all departments as necessary to provide draft plan and obtain pipeline information for final submission
* Consolidate pipeline and forecast information in the form of Business Plan and Monthly Rolling Forecasts, sending to Head Office and suppliers as required
* Manage and maintain safety stocks to ensure service levels to our customers are met
* Prepare complete inventory analysis reports to be presented internally and externally, making recommendations to optimise stock levels
* Maintain and distribute offers lists to sell old inventory at a reduced price
* Develop and create reports from our core systems to support various departments across the business
* Production of monthly KPI’s
* Decipher complex information to produce and maintain reports for internal and external use, ensuring effective communication at all levels
* You will have a good understanding of Forecasting, Planning and Inventory Management from a similar position or environment
* Demonstrate good written communication and telephone manner across all levels
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
* You'll need to possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Knowledge of SQL Query is highly advantageous
