Join us at The University of Salford as a Senior Partnerships Officer and be part of Team Salford and one of the UKs fastest growing universities We have a new opportunity for a Senior Partnerships Officer to join an established team in our International Office, an integrated professional services unit with expert teams dedicated to the successful delivery of the Universitys internationalisation agenda. The Senior Partnerships Officer will join a team managing and developing partnerships and collaborations for and across the university. What will the role involve? People management will be a key focus as you support the Partnerships Team to develop and deliver well managed partnerships (TNE, Progression, articulation and study abroad) and the internationalisation at home offer (COIL collaborations). Developing new ways of working including effective account management and coordination of activities across the University that maintain successful partnership arrangements Plan, lead and manage a calendar of important dates and tasks which need to be completed by the Partnerships Team Actively source new opportunities for future international initiatives including influencing potential future partners and representing the University at external events Project manage across the entire partnership development, including specific research activities, environmental scanning, focus groups, surveys, due diligence Developing new business for the University including scoping of proposals from potential partners and working with school colleagues to assess viability Contribute to our thinking and be challenging on how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive We hope you will bring: Excellent communications skills as you connect with colleagues across professional services, schools and partner organisations A high level of analytical skills, effectively researching markets and partner opportunities, and using high levels of attention to detail as you to collate, analyse and evaluate data from multiple sources, and use the outcomes to problem-solve. Previous experience of working with partnerships with a track-record of effectively managing communication channels and maintaining relationships Experience of managing an effective team The International Office Part of International and Regional Development, the International Office is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Universitys International Plan, focusing on three international aims: growth and diversity, global impact, and global citizenship. Partnership development is an integral part of the Universitys strategy as we grow our TNE, delivery and support development of stronger partner relationships across multiple activities. The Partnerships team work across multiple external stakeholders (overseas universities, government departments, higher education organisations) and internal stakeholders including our International Recruitment Team, Finance, Legal, Quality and Enhancement, and the Research Office.
