About the role The Performance Analyst role within abrdn's Performance Analytics team is a great opportunity for someone looking to work at the intersection of investment performance, data analysis, and stakeholder management. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting on investment performance while supporting key business functions like portfolio management, client reporting, and RFP responses. As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, producing, and delivering performance reports and attribution analysis using FactSet and other performance systems. You will work closely with portfolio managers, investment teams, and other business areas, ensuring that accurate performance data is provided to both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while collaborating effectively across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities: Performance Reporting: Maintain and produce high-quality performance reports using FactSet and other systems within agreed timeframes. Attribution Analysis: Support the delivery of high-quality attribution and ex-post risk analysis to help investment teams assess portfolio performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with investment desks and key business areas to ensure alignment and smooth communication. Product Understanding: Build expertise in abrdn’s range of investment products to provide accurate and relevant performance data. Data Provision: Provide key performance data for consultant and RFP (Request for Proposal) inquiries, supporting new business opportunities. About the candidate Exposure to multi-asset investment environments. Experience with FactSet and Morningstar. Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel Ability to engage with stakeholders across the business. Analytical mindset to assess issues and find innovative solutions. Willingness to optimise processes and drive efficiencies. Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
