Job Title: Subcontract Officer

We are seeking a motivated and self-disciplined individual to join our team as a Subcontracts Officer.
Role Overview:
The Subcontracts Officer plays a critical role in the procurement cycle, responsible for managing all aspects of subcontracting activities.
This includes but is not limited to:
* Initiating, coordinating, and administering subcontracts;
* Developing and implementing subcontract plans;
* Managing subcontractor performance and resolving any issues that may arise;
* Maintaining accurate records and reports related to subcontract activities;
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating with internal stakeholders to identify subcontract needs;
* Conducting market research to identify potential subcontractors;
* Developing and issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) documents;
* Evaluating proposals and selecting subcontractors;
* Negotiating subcontract terms and conditions;
* Managing subcontractor relationships and communication;
* Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring timely delivery;
* Resolving conflicts or issues arising from subcontract activities;
* Providing regular updates and reports to management on subcontract activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, procurement, or supply chain management;
* Proven experience in subcontracting or procurement, preferably in a similar industry;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* High level of organization and attention to detail;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
