Tenant Health and Safety Officer
Grade 7, £39,087 - £42,910
35 hour per week 9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Job Purpose:
As the Health and Safety Officer for Queens Cross Housing Association, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to tenant safety and cyclical maintenance. Whilst social housing experience is advantageous it is not essential – we are looking for candidates who understand the technical aspects of gas safety, water safety (such as managing legionella risk), lift safety, electrical safety, and fire safety.
You will:
1. Ensure that we understand and deliver our legal obligations for tenant property safety.
2. Manage contractors.
3. Assist in the organisation and management of cyclical maintenance.
4. Build relationships and influence decision-making to enhance service delivery.
5. Be comfortable implementing digital solutions and using software systems.
6. Have excellent communication skills to engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
