Job Description Wood is recruiting for a Trainee Pension Administrator to join our busy Compensation & Benefits team in Knutsford. This position offers hybrid working with three days in the office for team collaboration and two days remote. The role is an entry level position working as part of a two-year development programme towards a full Pension Administrator role. The role supports the smooth running of the pension schemes, in line with Service Level Agreements and quality levels. The role holder must be able to organise and prioritise their own work. Responsibilities Update member’s records accurately with new information Help log, and monitor post received daily Service the Pensions Helpline providing full support to members and external parties in a friendly manner Produce basic pension benefit quotations for members within agreed service levels Recommend improvements to standard processes and documentation Keep up to date with any relevant legislative changes Produce and validate routine letters, reports and forms from systems, templates and mail merge Monthly contribution reconciliation and audit New entrant processing Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above Knowledge, Skills And Experience Customer service skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Previous office / administration experience Personal Attributes Planning and Organisation skills and confident of working in a high-pressured environment Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy Good Communication skills, in dealing with pension scheme members
