Description Do you have previous experience in end to end Claims Handling? We are currently recruiting for a Claims Handler to join our Accident & Health team in our Glasgow office. This is an ideal opportunity if you are seeking a role within insurance and have previous Claims Handling experience. We provide excellent on the job training to allow you to thrive and support Accident & Health (A&H) Claims by ensuring accurate assessment and management of claims. You will handle A&H ‘complex’ claims in accordance with conditions of cover, Chubb policy and agreed service level agreements. Key responsibilities Accurately assess and evaluate ‘complex’ claims, reserve calculations and settlement values. Ensure that you deal with incoming call enquiries effectively. Provide the customer with a professional service at all times. Identify complaints and recognise customer expressions of dissatisfaction. Prioritise and manage your own allocated workload. Maintain and develop technical knowledge and expertise. It is key that you maintain key client relationships with regard to specific customers and accounts, for issues such as: late notification of claims, case progress, and issuing specific insured requirements within SLAs. Refer client issues that you can’t resolve to your Team Leader and help with claims operational initiatives and projects as required. Qualifications Claim handling experience, preferably from within a Broker or Insurance Office. Customer services experience demonstrating a professional standard in customer care. Experience of prioritising and working to SLAs. Strong listening & communication skills with experienced in MS Office Packages (including Word and Excel).
