The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Senior Legal Officer - Contracts, focusing on Contract, Commercial, and Project work.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEX to our team. If successful, you will work within the Contracts, Property, and Transformation team with experienced, bright, and friendly lawyers.
The successful candidate is required to provide quality legal support to the Council with a varied and interesting caseload including significant commercial projects, ICT contracts, Children and Adult Commissioning contracts, construction contracts, as well as advising on procurement and subsidy legislation.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to obtain high-quality contract law experience working for a key public sector organisation. You must have good technical knowledge and an interest in the relevant area of law.
