Job Description
NCIA was established on 1 July 2012 from a merger of several NATO entities. It has a 65 year legacy of supporting NATO operations, missions, and exercises and is on the frontlines against cyber threats, protecting NATO's networks 24/7. NCIA provides expertise and services that are critical to NATO's ability to fulfil its core tasks of consultation, collective defence, and crisis management.
Under the direction of the Chief Logistician, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
• Assists in the administration and maintenance of NCIA CIS Assets Property Accounting Records for NCIA Entities and External Customers;
• Assists in meeting Customer requirements within Service Level Agreements (SLA);
• Assists in the conduction of Annual Inventory Inspections in accordance Agency Directives and coordinated with CIS Points of Contacts (CISPOCS) in NCIA Entities and External Customers;
• Assists with CIS equipment discrepancies to be fully investigated, documented, and reported in accordance with NCIA directives;
• Assists NCIA Entities and External Customers in the Requisitioning, Receipt, Storage, Distribution, Exchange, Movement and Disposal of CIS Assets;
• Coordinates closely with technicians to ensure that the correct CIS equipment is requested to satisfy the user's requirement;
• Responsible for Asset Management transaction requests and following NCIA Directives and CSSC Standard Operating Procedures for ordering CIS equipment;
• Liaises closely with internal Section Heads and provides assistance as required; • Work on own initiative with limited supervision;
• Deputise for higher grade staff, if required; and
• Performs other duties as may be required.
Candidates must hold SC clearance or NATO SECRET clearance to be submitted for this role.
