Valley Primary School is a happy, vibrant school. Our vision is ASPIRE for excellence, ENJOY learning, ACHIEVE success and CHALLENGE ourselves further. This runs through everything that we do within school and we have high expectations for our children. We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and positive Learning Support Assistant to provide support to a small group of children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working alongside our well-structured and supportive staff to help all our children enjoy, learn and achieve success. We are hoping that the successful candidate will have experience in supporting children in the classroom and hold an EYFS relevant qualification. As part of the role, you will also be involved in intervention for individual or small groups of children. We offer full support and an induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development. We are in the process of joining a MAT and will be part of The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust in the very near future, hopefully by January 2025 so the contract will automatically transfer to them as employers on conversion. Please contact the school for further information regarding this. Valley Primary School is committed to safeguarding children; successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and will be required to disclose all relevant information for appropriate safeguarding checks.
