What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key part of our team, working with technical staff, demonstrators, and academics to ensure our anatomy and teaching labs run smoothly. Your role will include:
• Preparing and setting up lab equipment, materials, and reagents for practical sessions.
• Collaborating with the team to support students and teaching staff.
• Tidying, cleaning, and organising labs after sessions.

You’ll handle biological specimens, so professionalism is crucial. You’ll need at least 2 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English). As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll complete a Level 3 BTEC in Applied Science. This will include completion of a Level 3 BTEC in Applied Science with CSR (Scientist Training Program | Apprenticeship Provider | CSR Group.
Please be aware that, because of the legal requirements of anatomy, you must be at least 18 years old when starting the apprenticeship.
Apprentices must be ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years before starting their apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships can be funded even if you already hold a qualification at the same or higher level, provided the apprenticeship will help you gain substantive new skills and the training is materially different from any previous qualification or apprenticeship you’ve completed.
