Overview: We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 6 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship. As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will join our growing team who are responsible for assisting in the campaigns, Google & Meta Ads, and deliver social marketing to support business decision-making. Working closely with our senior leaders and other stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include: Implement trending keywords from paid campaigns into website content monthly Ensuring website aligns with the latest search engine practices (Google/Bing, shopping, meta descriptions etc.) Creation of marketing assets using Canva Ideally experience using Affinity Designer/Publisher/Photo (similar to Photoshop/Illustrator) Experience of preparing artwork for printing (adding bleeds etc.) useful Creation of email marketing campaigns using Campaign Monitor (similar to Mailchimp) Using meta ads to create paid ad campaigns Using Google ads to create paid search campaigns Essential skills / experience: Some knowledge of the backend of WordPress websites, helpful (creating posts and pages) Have used Buffer (or similar app) to deliver social media content Have used Trello or a similar project management app Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge would be useful Familiar with AI (Chat GPT, Gemini etc.) Familiar with Google and Bing analytics/search engine console Familiarity with Zapier automation a bonus but not essential Entry requirements: Standard Entry: To be eligible to study for a degree, typically candidates will have achieved grade C or above in at least five GCSE's, and at least two A-levels passes or any equivalent Level 3 qualifications. Any Level 3 Apprenticeship. Non-standard entry with work experience: Equivalent work experience (typically 2 years relevant experience at an appropriate level) – candidates may have previously been in a digital marketer role or be able to demonstrate a real passion and personal experience in digital marketing. Relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme, allowing for contextualized applications. The nature of an applicant’s work experience is as important if not more so than the duration of that experience. The experience could include Digital and Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Campaign Managers, Social Media Specialists, Content Marketing Executives, Digital Producers and Pay Per Click Analysts.
