Main duties of the job The Role: Brainkind is looking for a Senior Specialist SaLT who wants to develop their experience by working in our highly regarded service at West Heath House;providing strategic, professional leadership to the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. Your responsibilities will include: Work as autonomous speech and language therapist within your multidisciplinary team Assess how a persons communication impacts on their day to day life and provide intervention as appropriate. Work with the person and their social network to problem solve and overcome barriers. Assess communication and provide a management plan and rehabilitation (as appropriate) seeking specialist assessments as required Provide training to staff and our service users social network Be integral to service and organisational development.
