HR Business Partner
Location: Southampton – hybrid (2 days in the office)
Salary: £75k

My client is a global scaleup business with operations across the UK, Europe, and the US. They are a mid-sized innovative tech business that has ambitious growth plans. They are looking for a commercial BP to join them in their Southampton office. The role is varied and autonomous whilst reporting to the Head of People. They are looking for a confident and go-getting HRBP who will be able to bring ideas and work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. We are looking for candidates who want to get involved in the business and who want to put their own stamp on this brand-new role.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop effective workforce planning to identify skills and resources gaps and implement proactive solutions to address.
* Propose and implement effective Talent solutions to address needs, such as Early Careers and succession planning.
* Identify where managers need support in being effective leaders and create development plans to address needs.
* Address performance issues promptly and appropriately.
* Identify high performers and high potential employees and support their development.
* Address employee issues before they escalate into grievances or disciplinary actions.
* Drive and develop the performance review process.
* Ensure compliance with current policies and processes across the business while making recommendations for improvement.
* Analyze data to develop reports that support effective decision-making and demonstrate progress towards goals.
Qualifications and skills:
* CIPD Membership at Associate or above.
* Generalist background with project experience.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration capabilities.
* Ability to manage resources effectively and work alongside leaders to build high-performing teams.
* Experience with HRIS, ideally Workday, and comfortable using technology to innovate.
* Experience in providing reports and analyzing data using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Resilient and self-motivated.
