Senior Web/Full Stack Developer - PHP/Larvael - JS - React, Vue and/or Svelte £50,000 - £100,000 Remote/Hybrid - office based once a month Our Oxford-based client is an established global leader within their niche, employing circa 80 people across multiple continents. The business specialises in cross-platform software development, building bespoke innovative products for gaming platforms such as eGaming and mobile gaming - online casinos/gambling. Due to year on growth my client is actively seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to take ownership of and translate business requirements into technical solutions and to lead in the development of my clients innovative bespoke applications. You will work as a part of a team responsible for the development of casino slot games, liaising with the creative department to ensure that what you deliver is optimal, on-time, and defect free. You will collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure that games are performant within our platform and operable on all platforms, mobile and desktop. Requirements A strong understanding of modern frameworks such as Svelte/SvelteKit. Vue or React if the candidate has no Svelte experience. A strong background and experience with PHP (8 or above) and Laravel (9 or above). Good experience of TypeScript and JavaScript and how this interacts within a site context. Experience working with Linux servers as well as experience with MySQL and how this interacts with frameworks such as Laravel. The ability to write and understand HTML and CSS. Web services experience and API integration (REST) Desirable: Testing framework experience such as Jest or Mocha and automation tools such as Pupeteer, Playwright etc. Ability to test on a variety of devices using tools such as BrowserStack.
