Essential Criteria Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently on-site or as a team Previous experience in the telecommunications is required, preferably new build Relevant certifications in fibre splicing Maintain and uphold professional standards of conduct, whilst operating outside in the public space Interpret Jobs packs and splice plans, feeding back any anomalies that may present themselves along the way To perform fault finding in both a systematic and timely manner, ensuring data is collected and recorded as necessary To carry out appropriate street works practices in-line with established code of practice To monitor and maintain stock levels of equipment and consumables when required Complete relevant paperwork / evidence and forward as instructed Full UK Driving Licence Splicing -Spice and safely secure both internal and external cables within enclosures -Splice and install a brand new FDP if necessary -Install any new cab trays if required -Activate customers awaiting service -Install Kit1A if necessary -Label cables accurately These positions are offered on a self-employed basis, the rate of pay for these roles is £180-£200 per day dependant on experience.
