Pareto FM is currently seeking an experiencedElectrical Engineer to join our teamon a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible forcompleting Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks ensuring thatall building systems operate efficiently. While the focus is onelectrical expertise the ideal candidate will also have a solidunderstanding of mechanical and buildingservices.
KeyAccountabilities:
* Buildand maintain effective relationships with customers andinternal/external suppliers by resolving serviceissues.
* Owning maintenanceservice requests from submission to completion and feeding back tothe client and Facilities Management team. The first line ofresponse for all associated M&E and Fabricissues.
* Carry outstatutory compliance tasks to all facilityrelatedservices.
* Maintain recordsand update computerbased managementsystems.
* Ensure works arecompleted to a high standard within budget and key clientrequirements are met.
* Must give regular reportsand updates to the Pareto FM Account Manager and theclient.
* Support and managesubcontractors carrying out routine and emergency breakdownmaintenance both in and out of hours. Ensure that RAMS areappropriate and contractors are complying with them at all times.Check and verify all work has beencompleted.
* Where requestedprovide technical M&E advice and support to the client.
* Liaise with otherprofessionals undertaking project work and contribute site andmaintenance information where required.
* Liaise with the clientand other Pareto FM staff to develop and disseminate national bestpractice in M&E maintenance and procedures.
* Meet with and participatein site and property teams and provide technical input in otherareas e.g. security health and safety risk assessments utilityinfrastructures counter disaster planning and other appropriateinitiatives.
* Consult andinform the client of work that is taking place across the site.Always try to work around lab testing if possible and ensure thereis minimal downtime of lab operations.
* Undertake other works ofa similar nature as required and directed by the client and ParetoFM Account Manager.
* Havea good eye for innovation and improvement of existing systems andprocesses.
* Be the gotoperson for the client when an issue arises.
* Must be prepared to fillthe gaps and step into other Facilities Management roles in timesof constrained resource.

Competencies:
* AM2& NVQ Level 3 ElectricalInstallation/Maintenance.
* BS767118th edition.
* Able todesign new systems and additions to existinginstallations.
* Must be familiar with thegeneral risks and hazards associated with building work includingasbestos.
* A great understanding of legalcompliance within maintenance and Facilities management; as well ashow to achieve and maintain it to a highstandard.
* PC literate andcompetent in use of MS Office Package including MS Excel and MSWord. An ideal candidate has experience with security systemprograms such as CCTV and access control and CAFMsystems.
* Able toindependently problem solve and undertake general maintenance tasksto a high quality.
* Must behappy to supervise and managecontractors.
* Willing to learn and understandour systems on site: fire alarm heating system AC compressed airetc.
* Some knowledge of mechanicalengineering/plumbing and buildingconstruction.
* Excellentcommunicative and feedbackskills.
