The worker will work as part of a Children’s Centre Team across a neighbourhood of 4 children’s centres providing an efficient and welcoming service to all users of children’s centres within the localities of Burnage, Old Moat, Fallowfield, and Whalley Range. Working job-share hours end of the week, Wednesday afternoon, Thursdays and Fridays all day.
We are looking for an Outreach worker who:
* Has early years experience and knowledge of the EYFS.
* Has worked with families and children under 5 and can work as part of a multi-agency team.
* Is able to work at front line level, at a high quality and when necessary, assertively, and use a whole family approach.
* Is able to identify packages of support to improve outcomes and support children to achieve their milestones.
* Has the ability to maintain effective systems to manage and retrieve information and can use the computer to complete tracking of families and outcomes.
* Can support families with a range of issues such as housing, child protection, and onto training volunteering or work.
* Has excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
