Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and vibrant team on behalf of a school in the OL16 area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting Learning: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring all pupils achieve their potential.
* Planning and Preparation: Help plan, prepare, and deliver effective and differentiated activities to cater to the needs of individual pupils.
* Supporting Groups and Individuals: Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs or challenges.
* Monitoring Progress: Observe, assess, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
* Behaviour Management: Support the teacher in promoting positive behaviour and creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
* Administrative Support: Assist with the preparation of resources, maintaining classroom displays, and supporting in the day-to-day running of the classroom.
Ideal Candidate:
* HLTA Qualification: Hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or be working towards one.
* Experience: Experience working in a primary school setting is essential. Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
* Skills: Strong communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the capability to support pupils effectively.
* Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed in their education.
